Rail freight in Slovenia halted by ‘worst floods ever’

Slovenia is currently experiencing flooding, defined by Prime Minister Robert Golob as the biggest natural disaster ever in the country. As Slovenian Railways pointed out, the rail infrastructure suffered significant damage and caused the suspension of many rail freight services. InRail, an Italian company active in Slovenia, confirmed that railway lines in Slovenia are currently blocked.
