DB expands AI use for wagon checks in nationwide test

Deutsche Bahn (DB) is expanding its use of artificial intelligence (AI) to help in checking its rolling stock. The new technology is supposed to significantly speed up the mandatory inspections and is being tested nationwide.

A few years ago, companies were somewhat wary of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into their logistics processes. It was a risk to entrust such decisions to AI programs. But now, new technological implementations have changed the structure of our company’s activities completely.
