Combined Transport: some notes in view of the Directive’s revision

EU legislators are moving closer to publishing the revised Combined Transport Directive (CTD). It is a matter of a few days before it becomes public, and the industry awaits to see what changes it could bring also in the context of the Greening Freight Transport Package (GFTP). A workshop organised by the EU Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism this week provided some empirical insight into the intermodal and combined transport segments that could prove valuable for present and future policies.
