SBB Cargo: ‘No RU has managed to offer single wagonload traffic alone’

For many countries, Switzerland is an example to look up to when setting up a rail freight transport and infrastructure policy. Just like Swiss clocks, the rail industry is working with accuracy. That, however, does not save it from hurdles. For instance, the future of single wagonload traffic is uncertain, and this could also explain why SBB Cargo returned to the hands of its mother company, SBB, recently. RailFreight.com interviewed SBB Cargo to get a glimpse into Swiss rail freight.
