Spanish firm to build Kaunas hub on Rail Baltica

Lithuania has entrusted the Spanish consulting firm Ardanuy Engineering with the development of the Kaunas railway node of Rail Baltica. This is to become one of the most important logistics centers in the country. The contract for the construction of the infrastructure amounts to 1,065 million euros. The planning for this new node is expected to be approved in September 2022, while design and construction work should be ready by the end of 2026.
