‘USA and Russia started researching Bering Strait tunnel six months ago’

The United States and Russia reportedly started a feasibility study into a rail tunnel across the Bering Strait six months ago, according to Vladimir Putin’s investment envoy Kirill Dmitriev. Such a tunnel could connect Alaska with Russia’s Far East and could also be used for freight purposes.
