To my knowledge there is currently no standard gauge rail connection to or from Jundiz / Vitoria-Gasteiz. What is then the purpose of the standard gauge tracks? What type of intermodal (road-rail or rail-rail) activity? I do not understand why this terminal which is 83 km from Bilbao port is connected to the port? By lorry or by Spanish wide gauge rail? Overall, I am confused and do not understand the purpose.
